The Account Preferences, Links to ProQuest page lets you create specialized links to databases or combinations of databases that lets users access ProQuest with specific settings.
For example, you can create a customized link for users who want to search newspapers, setting the default search to Full Text. You can create a second link for others with the default search set to Citation/Abstract. Users can then select the link they want, and open ProQuest with the desired settings. These links can be used to build a custom database menu on your local web site, to add shortcuts to your computer desktops, or to enhance your favorites menus. You can:
